In March, public security agencies accomplished the mission of providing security for the Third Session of the 10th National People¡¯s Congress and the Third Session of the 10th National People¡¯s Political Consultative Conference successfully.
On 4 March, the MPS issued the Opinion on Reinforcing the Construction of Public Security Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT). By the end of this year, the establishment of Public Security SWAT in 36 major cities in China has been completed.
On 10 March, Liu Zhaohua, a super dug baron was captured in Fujian province.
From 29 to 31 March, the MPS held a nationwide meeting on anti-corruption and force build-up.
