In 2005, focusing on assuring
security in penitentiaries and
improving administration by grades, the penitentiary police made all efforts to well control and effectively educate inmates, to safeguard the smooth progressing of criminal procedures and administrative enforcement, to guarantee the legal rights of the inmates.All designated tasks had been successfully completed.
With administration and rectification of penitentiary places
being further deployed, mechanism to prevent and solve ˇ°bullyingˇ± problem being established, and face to face supervision model between the police and the inmates being improved, the management level and working efficiency
were enhanced, and security and stability of the penitentiary places were safeguarded.
Vigorously organized targeted operation of digging further crimes and cleared 185,000 criminal cases with 495,000 clues of offences and crimes being discovered.
With operation to clean up rehabilitation drugs being organized, and medical treatment and recovery work being improved and standardized, efforts against drug taking at compulsory rehabilitation centers were further enhanced.
With the first penitentiary information system project being constructed, the information management at penitentiary places were further developed, which facilitated the penitentiary work. |
